PP and PVC Prices Fell, While PE Prices Rose!

The transaction atmosphere in the domestic PVC paste market is mediocre. Most of the company's offers are stable, with some loose offers, and the downstream purchasing atmosphere is average. Market price reference: Glove materials are sent to the East China market for a reference of 8500-8800 yuan/ton; large plate materials are sent to the East China market for a reference of 8400-8900 yuan/ton.

Forecast: At present, there is no inventory pressure on the supply side of the market, demand performance is tepid, and some companies are gradually under pressure to ship. It is expected that short-term company quotations will be stable and there will be some narrow adjustments.

BOPA

Prices in the domestic BOPA market increased slightly, and new orders were traded fairly well. The mainstream transaction price of 15μ step-by-step composite film in the East China market is 22,800-23,000 yuan/ton. There are certain transaction conditions for low prices. The price on that day increased by 150 yuan/ton compared with the previous trading day, and increased by 2,150 yuan/ton compared with the same period last week. The price increased by 3,900 yuan/ton in the same period last year and increased by 2,400 yuan/ton compared with the same period last year. The price of printed film is about 1,000 yuan/ton higher than that of composite film; the price of synchronous film is about 2,000 yuan/ton higher than that of composite film.

Forecast: The price of PA6 film-grade chips is stable, the upstream caprolactam market has declined slightly, the cost support has weakened, and downstream demand has been weak. The PA6 market is expected to fall back from its high level in the short term. The overall support for BOPA on the cost side may weaken slightly. The BOPA market continues to be in short supply. There are sufficient orders from film factories, but the mentality of reluctance to sell at low prices still exists, and some film factories are accepting limited orders. Downstream factories and traders have smooth destocking, but many have stocked up in the early stage. In the near future, they mainly need to replenish their stocks. Dispersed orders are still being followed up. There were few transactions at the low end of the market, and the center of gravity was fluctuating at a high level.
